Viewing centre opens at 8.00 am and 3.00 pm every day. There you have to walk about 2 km or 25 minutes from Bukit Lawang to the Orangutan station and then a short climb to the viewing centre. Get your permit from the PHPA Office and bring your passport. Permits are valid one day.
